Data.CMS.gov has datasets about Medicare Fee-For-Service, special programs and initiatives, and the Health Insurance Marketplace. This includes information on providers who accept Medicare, services and procedures delivered by providers, and qualified health plans.

Ordering and Referring, including:
- Data on all physician and non-physician practitioners who are eligible to order and refer in the Medicare program, and who have current enrollment records
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) and legal name (last name, first name).

Part D Prescriber Look Up Tool, including drugs prescribed to Medicare beneficiaries.

Medicare Revalidation list with information on each provider’s revalidation due date since providers must revalidate with Medicare every 3 to 5 years.

Market saturation & utilization, including interactive maps that show the density of providers relative to the number of beneficiaries, in each geographic area.
